Stools

We wanted to celebrate the characters of three classic British timbers, with our classic three-legged stool design. This collection showcases oak, ash and walnut, all hand-selected for grain and figure detailing. Our optional 'naguri' top (bottom right) adds a beautiful textured element to any stool.

Rift Hall Bench

The Rift bench has been crafted from solid oak, designed for comfort and functionality.

The tilts and angles designed into the seat and frame work together to create an elegant overall aesthetic that's pleasing for the eye to wander over.

The seam, or rift, that runs through the entire piece is inspired by the granite fissures of Sennen Cove. The piece makes a stylish and practical addition to a hallway or bedroom

Swell Wall Cabinet

Made from British Oak and Cornish storm-felled Sycamore, this cabinet combines stylized tactile rippling and eye-catching joinery, with simplicity and lightness.

Ideal for the kitchen or living room, the positioning and proportions of each element of the cabinet give the impression of it unfurling into space to display your treasures.

Of course, the swell that rolls through the door panels is inspired by the view from any number of our Cornish coastal cliffs.

Nook 2 - Open wardrobe

Inspired by the original Nook Multifunctional Unit (below), our client wanted their Nook to function as a customizable open wardrobe and drawer unit for their bedroom. A design that would celebrate characterful oak was essential to our brief.

Nook - Multifunctional unit

The Nook Multifunctional Unit is designed to adapt and grow with you and your changing needs.

Originally created to efficiently utilize the space within the dimensions of a standard alcove, it also brings corner spaces to life or will sit comfortably against an open wall.

This design can be reconfigured to fulfil the following broad functions:

- Desk and shelving, with slide-out cupboard seat.

- Desk with top-mounted cupboard.

- Open wardrobe

- Media unit

Topo Coffee Table

For those inspired by natural features and forms, the Topo table was designed to bring elements of the landscape into the home.

The design of this piece incorporates a to-scale representation of the Cuillin Mountains, carved into the ash table top.

The Cuillin Mountains are a breathtaking range in the Isle of Skye, containing the famous Cuillin Ridge, notorious among climbers and mountaineers for its extreme and exposed ascent, and magnificent, otherworldly panoramas of mountain, loch and sound.

We are climbers ourselves, and to us this ridge encapsulates a true celebration of British wildness. However, we can create a table with any topographical feature that has meaning to you. Please get in touch to discuss your ideas with us.

Devichoys Shelves

Part of our Devichoys Wood collection, these live-edge shelves are made from timber sourced from the Devichoys Woodland, two miles from our workshop.

Managed by regeneration and agroforestry experts, Working Woodlands Cornwall (WWC), 10% of all profits made on these items go back to them, and into maintaining Cornish Woodlands.
